Boys Semi-Private Training

Designed for small groups of 4-8, players will work closely with Shak’s World ELITE coaches to develop specific key skills. Small groups to under 8 players to ensure players are receiving the appropriate attention to detail, with the benefit of competing against others, and meeting Covid-19 safety protocols.

Weekly Practices/Games

Each team will have (1) practice or (1) game per week, approximately 75-minutes each session. Following the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model younger aged players will have more practices than games and older aged players will play more games than practices.

Prepare for Impact is a program within Shak’s World that will offer the youth a safe space to identify the kind of influence they have, the ways in which they can utilize this influence and a proper plan to introduce their form of influence to the world. This program will offer the youth of our community the opportunity to develop their social skills, on and off social platforms while creating brands and potential business with its core purpose to the growth and development communities near or afar. Prepare for Impact is here for youth who are interested in creating initiatives dear to them that will serve to tackle problems in their communities. This program is geared towards youth between the ages 14-17 years old.

Art Drop In

Monday & Thursday 4:00 - 5:00 pm

From week to week our art instructors will be there to guide on different techniques including learning to sketch, paint, and much more!

Book Club Drop In

Fridays from 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Ages 7-17 are welcome to come to our weekly book club meetings. We will be dividing up the groups based on age. The first week we will pick a book and over the course of the next month, we will have weekly book club meetings to discuss our likes and dislikes of the book. Each participant will have a chance to pick a book each month.

Art for The Soul Program

Ages 7-10 Tuesday 3:30 - 5:00
Ages 11-13 Wednesday 3:30 - 5:00
Ages 14-17 Saturday 1:00 - 2:30

The Art Therapy Program will run for eight weeks where participants will learn the fundamentals of Art Therapy and learn how to use various techniques to work through their feelings including emotional life drawing, creating a "words to live by" collage, sculpting, and much more!

Soca-cize with Bree

Socacize is a mix of Socacize fitness and a creative blend of authentic Caribbean and African dance techniques, in harmony with effective fitness moves, resulting in a unique, non judgmental and exhilarating dance fitness program. To empower every reveler to positively impact their mental, social and physical being through the F.L.A.U.N.T lifestyle. Flaunt stands for Feel good | Look good | Attitude | Unleash | Nice up yourself | Take time for You. Geared for youth of all ages, sessions will be taking place both in-person and via zoom.

Poetry Program

Our poetry slam program is a safe space for youth or adults to come together and share their poetry, or read their favourite poem. Join us once a week via Zoom and let your creativity shine.  Each week we will have a special theme or guest.

Wellness room

Mom & Tots Yoga

Thursdays Virtually From 10:00 - 11:00

Parent & Tot Yoga is a great way to regain strength and flexibility in a relaxed environment, while bonding with your new baby and other new parents. This is a time for you to connect with your baby as they are incorporated into our poses and stimulated with sensory props, songs and movement. Your baby will also benefit from bonding time with you and other babies while enjoying the benefits of yoga and movements, in a relaxed, calming and friendly environment. No yoga or fitness experience is required, all levels are welcome. This class is recommended for babies 0-18 months, siblings are always welcome to stay.


Girls Self Defence

Monday 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Learning how to defend yourself as a female is extremely important in this day in age. This program will teach young girls the importance of consent, knowing your safety plan, respect for oneself and others, physical defense techniques, and offer the resources and support if they were to find themselves in a traumatic or abusive situation. Appropraite for ages 7-17. All skill levels welcome.

Youth Yoga

Thursdays Virtually From 4:45 - 5:30
Ages 7-13

Mind, body fun where youth can discover a sense of happiness and peace within themselves in this fast paced world we live in by practicing yoga with a joyous and creative approach. Interactive and artistic classes to simulate and enhance imagination. Some of the benefits of youth yoga are:
Increase confidence and positive self image; Practice mindfulness; Balance both body & mind;
Have fun in an active way; Develop social skills in a healthy non-competitive group; Develop body awareness

Adult Yoga

Thursdays Virtually From 6:00 - 7:00

Join us as we flow mindfully through a creative sequence of Hatha and Vinyasa postures with a strong focus on alignment, breath, inner intention and having fun. This class is suitable for all levels, no previous yoga experience is required. Variations will be offered for those newer to yoga and the more seasoned yogi.

Young Adult Yoga

Thursdays Virtually From 7:15 - 8:00
Ages 14 - 24

The class is designed to prepare new yogis for a balanced Hatha practice. Hatha Yoga is an accessible style that uses movement and breath to help balance the mind and body.
